Monte Carlo simulation of random Penrose tilings

This directory contains a program for simulating random Penrose rhombus tilings. It includes features to define simple tile Hamiltonians and to decorate the tiles. Figures of the tilings and the perpendicular space projections are produced in eps format. Click on ptflipham to view the contents online, or on ptflipham.tgz to download it. This is a scaled-down and speeded-up version of the program first developed in M. Mihalkovic, et al. "Total-energy-based structure prediction for decagonal Al-Ni-Co", Phys. Rev. B 65 (2002) 104205.
